Upon arrival in Florence, we by day settle in to the bookmakers workshop with the artisans. We choose our favorite hides and colors. We spend days creating our dyes, and choose every detail that goes into these handmade albums and books. The papers are Florentine Creme, the vellums that separate each page are crisp and make the book a luxurious piece of art. Each book is elegantly marked with our custom logo.
Alavekios Custom Italian Albums are a luxurious library bound book. The prints mounted to the pages are printed on a thick 100% cotton rag fine art paper. Photographs are varnished for protection and luster. Alavekios Photographic Essays Studio also offer a few other types of albums in the studio to meet the different styles that appeal to a variety of clients needs.
